A 20-hour elective course titled Introduction to Public Health and Safety Policy for the MA Public Policy program at Manipal’s Department of Public Policy; designed and taught entirely by our team, the course combined practical sector experience with theoretical foundations. Engaging 20 students, we used a multimedia, experiential approach—integrating classroom sessions with debates, projects, gamified assignments, rewards, and interactive testing to make learning dynamic, participatory, and impactful.
This Centre created a comprehensive branding book with themed chapters covering key aspects of personal branding, such as market research, visibility, storytelling, and navigating online challenges like trolling for Nusocia, a social impact consulting agency. Each chapter included assignments, DIY activities, and was supplemented with short learning videos, interactive quizzes, and engaging puzzles. This toolkit was designed to help individuals build and sustain authentic personal brands through reflection, practice, and play. The project was designed to stay within their system for ongoing use and reference.

The site is designed to help funders, donors, and partners connect with and support this impactful, community-driven work.
The Taaras website showcases a nationwide platform led by women in sex work across India, uniting over 1,000 grassroots leaders and 62 community-based organisations to advocate for rights, dignity, and access to health and social services. With a presence in 12 states and reaching more than 120,000 community members, Taaras focuses on reducing vulnerability to HIV, addressing socio-economic challenges, and amplifying marginalised voices.
