What We Do

The Centre for Strategic Communications for Public Health

We leverage our public health insights and use the science of strategic communication to shift behaviours, take insights to policymakers, and strengthen public health practice through insight, innovation, and deep community connection.

We work at the intersection of evidence, human behaviour and storytelling. We see communication as public health infrastructure that can create measurable and lasting change. Here are the things we do most often:

In partnership with our community - people navigating systemic vulnerabilities, technical experts and program personnel, we co-design evidence-based communication strategies rooted in behavioural and cognitive science, cultural intelligence and systems thinking. Our strategies ensure messages land with clarity, build trust and drive action.

We create inclusive, accessible public health communication tailored to linguistic, cultural and social realities. We blend insight and creativity to make public health information accessible, meaningful and actionable.

We equip and co-create with health workers, communicators and policymakers to build strategic thinking and actionables that shape their work in public health..

We design and run multi-platform campaigns that combine digital intelligence, legacy media, and grassroots trust. We build scalable, context-specific, and adaptive communication ecosystems to bridge evidence and emotion, informing policy and inspiring public action.

We measure resonance and reach using qualitative and quantitative methods to track how information, messaging and its various channels shape perceptions, behaviours and systems. Our continuous study of social norms and feedback loops enable real-time course correction.

We actively study audience behaviour and test emerging tools including AI, AR/VR, gamification and neural design. We ensure public health communication keeps pace with the world it seeks to change.

We provide clear, timely and accurate information during and towards prevention of public health threats. We use evidence-based messaging and trusted local networks to build confidence, counter misinformation and support rapid, informed action by communities and decision-makers.

We ground our communication in real community voices. We listen actively, capture lived experiences, and build trusted feedback loops that inform strategy and action. We work with communities as equal partners to surface insights, address concerns, and shape health narratives that reflect their realities and drive collective action.

We design public health convenings that reduce information fatigue and support how people actually process and retain knowledge. We create safe, enabling environments where participants can absorb key messages, translate them into action, and sustain meaningful behaviour change.

Our Channel & Experience Intelligence

The Centre for Strategic Communications for Public Health at Swasti Health Catalyst is a thinking, learning, and synergistic intelligence hub. We design communication ecosystems that respond to how people live, decide, and heal in real time.

We shape experiences that the human nervous system can absorb, retain, and act upon. Public health isn’t just cognitive; it’s embodied. So, our communication strategies intentionally reduce cognitive overload, create enabling environments, and leverage emotional and sensory anchors to help information stick and spark change.

Designing for the Body, Not Just the Brain

Our events and campaigns are designed as immersive learning environments -where strategy meets neuroscience. We integrate movement, sensory triggers, story arcs, and participation to help audiences regulate, process, and internalize messages.

This is strategic communication as public health infrastructure- intelligent, multi-sensory, and deeply human.

We don’t just communicate - we connect, co-create, and catalyse. That’s the Centre.
